The list.

It all started on a scrap of paper one summer when boredom took over and inspired me to make a list of things I hoped to accomplish at some point, in no particular order. It's like an unending list of New Year's Resolutions for my life, if that makes any sense. Anyway, it has since forth been referred to as "the list". Some things are serious, some are stupid, and I'm not even sure why some of them are there (like #26...I hate otriches; they actually really scare me). I've since added the rule that if something is added, it is not to be removed until completed (ostrich encounter, here I come). Merely a few have been accomplished (I like to say it's because I dream big, ha), which are also listed (and linked to related blogs/photos/videos). Essentially, it is a list of things to do before I die, and a celebration of those which have been conquered, huzzah!

It's really not as morbid as it seems.

  3. Photograph the world.
  4. See the seven natural wonders of the world.
  5. Go on a roadtrip with no predetermined destination.
  6. Follow a band on tour.
  7. Meet someone who has always wanted to meet me.
  8. Change someone else's life.
  9. Get a Master's Degree.
  10. Move to Mexico.
  11. See Josh Groban in concert.
  12. Publish a photography book.
  13. Learn Latin Dance.
  14. Live each day as if it were my last.
  15. Pet a moose.
  16. Be an amazing piano player.
  17. Witness the end of IE.
  18. Ride a camel in the desert.
  19. Pop a water balloon in zero gravity.
  20. Start an animal rescue shelter.
  21. Pet a llama.
  22. Master the Art of Chopsticks.
  23. Learn to play the cello.
  24. Dress up in a giant food costume (pizza, fruit, etc.)
  25. Live life selflessly.
  26. Ride an ostrich.
  27. Go spelunking.
  28. See the Northern Lights.
  29. Go to the opera.
  30. Take more risks.
  31. Learn to do a backflip.
  32. Be more spontaneous.
  33. Learn to balance on a moving bus.
  34. Get a skydiving license.
  35. Live in Australia.
  36. Take a photo a day for a year.
  37. Visit all 50 states.
  38. Speak a foreign langauge fluently.
  39. Work for Google.
  40. Work with one of my favourite photographers.
